I came in a little early to lift, then the circuit was from class. My traps are sore today, I think from shrugging on the cleans. The ring push-up/pike and the one-arm ring rows were really clever exercises - challenging but scalable. I'm liking all the work on the gymnastic rings that we're doing in class. And I made progress on the ball kick-throughs from last time I did them, in that I didn't repeatedly fall on my face.
Today was climbing, and tomorrow I'll go in and lift again. Probably some squats, but I don't have a complete plan yet.
Mike and I haven't done our traditional after-Valentine's dinner out yet. (It is too insane to get restaurant reservations in Boulder on V-Day, so we postpone a day or two, or three). I'm thinking about a nice aged steak from the Chop House. Hopefully tomorrow is the day! I may even dress up for the occasion.
I've been doing some knitting, but nothing interesting. Lots of garter stitch. Still need to embroider those socks, but I will always procrastinate sewing for knitting, unfortunately...
